The Mumbai Municipal Corporation is to use perfume / deodrant to counter the foul smell coming out of a dumping site.People will feel good as they will be smelling perfume instead of bad smell.
But my view is that the bad/foul smell/gases will not get stopped coming out of the dump site and will continue to cause the diseases/ infection as is cauesed now .
Secondly ,the perfume used will cause allergy/ asthma, chemical side effects and even carcinogenic harmful effects to some people .
A better solution is to to use the gases /methane gas coming out of the dumping site as burning fuel as is being used at some dumping sites in Delhi.
